Men's Leadership Challenge (10 men, 10 weeks, 10 challenges) will have another series of sessions beginning in early January 2012. If you would like to take The Challenge, contact Jason Speed or Glenn Daily. The Challenge experience will increase your spiritual growth and you will make new Christian friends!
Lads-to-Leaders held the Kickoff Banquet on September 10. Many of our children will participate in numerous events over the coming months. The participants will increase their knowledge of the Bible, gain confidence by learning new skillsets and use their talents in Christian service. Be a part of L2L at Germantown in 2012. If you have questions, please contact Dee or Glenn Daily.
Daily Bible Readers (DBR) ministry continues in 2011 with over 150 members reading the Bible on a consistent basis as a part of this ministry. Keep reading, studying and applying the word of God! Be on the lookout for the DBR signup for 2012 later this year!
The Lads-to-Leaders/Leaderettes (L2L) is a program to build skills and knowledge to be used in the Lord’s church. Children and young adults from third grade through college age gain experience in many areas that allow them to have the confidence and understanding to use their talents. Some activities are team-oriented, while others are individual. Some events are competitive and others are not. There are many ways to be involved in the program. The end result is a growth in spirituality for those who participate and the recognition of a job well done. Participation in the Germantown L2L program continues to increase each year! Be a part of L2L! Come join the excitement!
The Germantown church of Christ is very active in the L2L program. The congregation continues to add L2L activities each year; but more importantly the congregation’s young people continue to increase their personal involvement.
