Sunday Morning Adult Bible Classes
June—August 2008
Auditorium Class
Walter Edge will lead this class in a study of “Matthew—the Life of Christ.”
This class will be an in-depth study of Matthew’s account of the life of Christ and the great teachings of our Savior.
Faith Builders Class—Fellowship Hall Rooms #1 & 2
This class alternates between a textual study and a topical study. Dave Phillips is the teacher and will lead them in a study of the “Gospel of Luke.” They will consider the lessons from the text.
Fellowship Hall Class—Fellowship Hall Rooms #3 & 4
This class is taught by Larry Scroggs. He will lead this class in a study of “The Early Church : The New Testament Pattern.” This class will study the Scriptures that help us form the patterns for many of our church doctrines.
20 & 30’s Class—Room 120
This class is for all young adults in their 20’s and 30’s. Ty Miller and Paul Bouquet will lead this class in a study of “The Gospel of Mark.” They will discuss the great teaching and miracles of Christ presented in this Gospel.
Good News Class—Room 123
This class is a discussion class. Eddie Lewis will lead this class in a study of “1 & 2 Thessalonians—Christ is Coming.” This class will be an in-depth study. Paul tells us how to be ready with prepared lives and a prepared church. Paul discusses how to walk in holiness, honesty, harmony, helpfulness, and hope.
Caring Class—Room 124
The Caring Class is a discussion class. Tom Donaldson will lead this class in a study of “Luke-Arrival in Jerusalem .” Tom will look at the last days of Jesus as he comes to fulfill His mission of saving man from sin.
Cornerstone Class—Room 128
Byron Howell is the teacher for this discussion class. They will study “Rescue Me—The Book of Romans.” This class will be an in-depth study of Paul’s letter. Paul tells them of God’s great scheme to justify man through faith in His Son.
Hope of Glory Class—Room 130
Ron Roberson will lead this class in a study of “1 & 2 Samuel—A Life of Victory.” This class will be an in-depth study of what made King David a great success. It is a contrast between King Saul’s tragic fall and David’s life of victory.
S.Y.M.B.O.L.S.—Room 223
This class is for singles between the ages of 18 & 25. Tim Vann , Brent Carter, and Shawn Lillie will lead this class in a study of “Staying A Christian.” They will examine different worldviews and myths encountered in society and consider the tools needed to live a faithful Christian life.
Wednesday Night Classes

Auditorium Class—“The Silencing of God”
Glenn Daily will lead this class as they view a video seminar by Dave Miller. The video issues a stirring plea to the nation to reclaim our Christian heritage and return from the depths of moral depravity.
Room 120— “Positive Christian Living”
Eddie Lewis will lead this class in a study of seven great positive principles for living the Christian life. They will discuss each principle and how it helps us face the challenge of living for Christ.
Room 123— “Light from Above”
Ron Roberson will lead this class in a video discussion of the challenges faced by some of our early restoration leaders.
Room 124— “Ephesians—Glory of the Church”
Dave Phillips will lead this class in a textual study of Paul’s letter to the Ephesians.
Room 130— “The Life of Paul”
Archie Vest will lead this class in a study of the chronology of the life of Paul. They will consider his early years, conversion and his missionary journeys.
Room 2—Singing Class
The Singing class is a fun class. Those interested in singing will enjoy singing some of your favorite songs with the class.
