MINISTRY

IMMEDIATE SERVICE OPPORTUNITIES

    • Volunteers are needed to help with Vacation Bible School July 14-18. For additional information or to volunteer email Eddie Lewis at eddielewis@gtownchurchofchrist.org
    • Heart Group leaders are needed. Please contact Darrin Ruddy if you would be willing to serve as a Heart Group leader.
    • Drivers are needed for the Bus to and from Kirby Pines on Wednesday nights. See Hal Montague or Darrin Ruddy for additional information.
    • The Audio/Visual Ministry needs some additional men to work in the sound room. See Tommy Stokes for specific job descriptions.
    • Additional people are needed in the Visitation Ministry. If you would like to serve on a Visitation Team contact Jerry Ellis.

ADDITIONAL OPPORTUNITIES FOR SERVICE

ACCESS TO BUILDING: To make the facilities available for use while providing necessary security of the facility. Contact Al Gabriel.

AGAPE: Contact Mark Conder.

AUDIO-VISUAL: To facilitate the communication of God's message through audio and video technology. Contact Tommy Stokes, Jeff Goode, or Jon Pace.

BACK PROPERTY: To coordinate the use of our back property including the new pavilion that is presently under construction. Contact Hal Montague or Paul Hayes.

BUSINESS LUNCHEONS: To provide an opportunity for our members to introduce their friends to the church. Contact Jason Speed, Steve Pruitt, David Escue or Al Fowler.

CHILDREN'S BIBLE HOUR: To provide an age appropriate worship time for children from 3 years old through the second grade. Contact Eddie Lewis.

CHILDREN'S HOMES: To provide support to Children's homes through financial assistance or service projects. Contact Jim Embry.

COMMUNITY AWARENESS: To promote a positive image of the church in the community. Contact Ron Roberson.

CORPORATE: To position the Germantown Church of Christ in the best posture to achieve the desired results in evangelism as well as church growth within the community and government guidelines. Contact Al Fowler or Jason Speed.

CHRISTIAN COLLEGES: To coordinate our support of Christian Colleges. Contact Mark Conder.

DISASTER RELIEF: Contact Jerry Ellis.

DOORKEEPERS: To provide a cordial welcome and an announcement sheet to our members and guests as they enter the auditorium. Contact Al Fowler.

EDUCATION: To help every member and those in our community grow in his/her knowledge of God. Contact Eddie Lewis, Shawn Lillie or Tom Dickson.

EUROPEAN MISSION: To coordinate our mission efforts in Europe. Contact Shawn Lillie.

FACILITIES MANAGEMENT: To provide maintenance and housekeeping support for our capital assets including the buildings and vehicles. Contact Mark Conder, Tom Dickson, Owen Hammond, or Scott Haynes.

FAMILY FOCUS: To champion the needs of families. Contact Glenn Daily.

FELLOWSHIP: To provide special times for fellowship. Contact Rod Robinson, Owen Hammond or Darrin Ruddy.

FINANCE: To accurately provide timely information concerning the contributions and expenses of God's money at Germantown. Contact Steve Haynes or Al Fowler.

FOOD PANTRY: To provide food for the needy primarily on a one time basis. Contact Ricky Echols or Mark Conder.

GROUNDS: To maintain the area around the buildings. Contact Paul Hayes or Hal Montague.

GUEST RECEPTION: To insure that each of our guests is greeted and made to feel welcome. Contact Steve Pruitt.

HEART GROUPS: Contact Darrin Ruddy.

HOPEWORKS: To provide help and any assistance necessary to Hopeworks in their efforts to minister to the inner city. Contact Mike Parham.

INVOLVEMENT: Contact Terry Day, Zach Shappley or Ron Roberson.

LIBRARY: To maintain the library and provide relevant study material for our members. Contact Tommy Stokes or Jon Pace.

LIFEBLOOD: To provide coverage for all of the members of the congregation and to fulfill specific needs for blood products. Contact Mark Conder.

MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT: To help build healthy marriages in the Germantown church family. Contact Zach Shappley or Eddie Lewis.

MEALS FROM THE HEART: To provide meals three times a week to shut-ins or members recovering from long-term illness. Contact Scott Haynes.

MEN'S BIBLE STUDY: To provide an opportunity for the men to participate in a weekly time of group Bible study and prayer. Contact David Escue or Ron Roberson.

MEN'S MINISTRY: Contact Jason Speed.

MISSIONS: To increase the number of missionaries that we support and to increase the number of our members involved in missions. Contact David Escue, Steve Pruitt, Darrin Ruddy, Al Gabriel, Ricky Echols, Shawn Lillie, Derek Graham or Terry Day.

MOTHER AND DAUGHTER OUTINGS: To encourage positive interaction between mothers and their daughters. Contact Barre Thrasher.

NEW HORIZONS (Senior Adult Ministry) Contact Ron Roberson.

NEW NEIGHBORS: To explore and implement ways to reach those who have recently moved into our area. Contact Zach Shappley.

NEW VISITOR'S CLASS: To meet and greet all first time visitors and provide them with information about the activities and ministries of the church. Contact Steve Pruitt.
